Welcome to Amiggos, a community-based platform designed to help people connect, collaborate, and engage socially. By creating an account and using the Amiggos app (“App” or “Service”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read carefully before using Amiggos.
- Not a Dating App
Amiggos is not a dating application. While users may connect and choose to meet in person, Amiggos is not responsible for any interactions, including but not limited to friendships, relationships, sexual encounters, or disagreements that may occur. All meetups and personal engagements are done at your own risk.
- User Conduct & Community Rules
Users must follow the Amiggos Rules of Engagement. No discrimination, harassment, disrespect, or abusive behavior will be tolerated. If another user reports misconduct, Amiggos will investigate. At our discretion, we may suspend or permanently block your account. Once blocked or removed, you may not create a new profile. Upon termination, you will forfeit all benefits, income, discounts, or perks associated with Amiggos. Amiggos functions like a workplace community: once you are removed, you cannot continue to receive benefits.
- Earnings & Fees
Certain activities within Amiggos may generate income for users. Once you reach a specific earnings threshold, Amiggos will begin charging a monthly membership fee (amount to be determined). For video ads created for brand partners through Amiggos, the platform will automatically collect 20% of earnings. Users are considered independent contractors and are fully responsible for reporting and paying their own local, state, and federal taxes. Amiggos will not issue tax forms or report earnings on your behalf.
- Liability & Risk
Amiggos does not control user interactions and is not responsible for any incidents that occur, including but not limited to harassment, discrimination, judgmental behavior, sexual misconduct, or denial of entry/services by venues or brands. By using Amiggos, you agree to waive any right to sue Amiggos, its affiliates, partners, or representatives for damages, claims, or liabilities of any kind, whether arising from user interactions, misconduct, third-party actions, or use of the platform. This waiver applies to the fullest extent permitted by law and is a condition of account creation and platform use.
- Age & Minor Interaction Policy
By using Amiggos, you affirm that you are of the legal age of majority in your state or country of residence, or that you have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian to use the platform. If you are under the age of 18 (“minor”), your parent or guardian must read and consent to these Terms and will be responsible for your use of Amiggos. Users must comply with all state and federal laws governing interactions with minors. Amiggos is not responsible for any communications, meetings, or interactions involving minors.
